Visitor FAQs

Where can I park?

Millican’s parking is located off of Kathy Flemming Rd, about a block off of Welborn. Our parking lot is paved and offers accessible entryways to both the sanctuary and fellowship hall.

What’s the atmosphere like at Millican UMC?

Millican UMC strives to be warm and inviting to all people. People from all walks of life come to our church each week. Every family has its own dysfunction and none of us are perfect, because the church is not a refuge from sinners, but a hospital for them. If you’re not perfect and if you’re seeking a closer relationship with God, Millican UMC may be a great place to find community, authenticity, and outlets for service. Some people come dressed casually while others wear slacks or dresses. You’ll almost never see anyone wearing a tie. Come as you are.

What should I expect worship to be like?

Our 9:30 worship gathering offers heartfelt and engaging music, a weekly childrens moment, , a time to share prayer concerns, relevant and practical teaching times, and time for response and reflection. Our prayer is when we gather for worship each week, we leave having experienced God in a powerful way.
